Sealed proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment for the project designated as ALTA COLLINA - TRAIL PHASE I for Sanitary and Improvement District 353 of Sarpy County, Nebraska, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The scope includes: 1. Construction of 149 feet of proposed 10-foot trail on the north side of Lookingglass Drive, between South 48th and South 49th Streets. 2. Construction of 292 feet of proposed 10-foot trail on the north side of Lookingglass Drive, between South 49th and South 50th Streets. 3. Construction of 295 feet of proposed 10-foot trail on the north side of Lookingglass Drive, between South 50th and South 51st Streets. 4. Construction of 127 feet of proposed 10-foot trail on the north side of Lookingglass Drive, between South 51st Street and the east edge of Outlot B. 5. Construction of 615 feet of proposed 10-foot trail on the east side of South 51st Street, between Lookingglass and Falcon Drives. 6. Construction of 508 feet of proposed 10-foot trail on the east side of South 52nd Street, between Falcon and Pinehill Drives. 7. Construction of 149 feet of proposed 10-foot trail on the east side of South 52nd Street, between Pinehill Drive and the north limit of SID 353. 8. Installation of curb ramps at all Phase I intersections. All work shall be done in a good and workmanlike manner as shown on the plans and specifications as reviewed by FoleyShald Engineering, LLC, 3930 S 147th Street, Suite 200, Omaha, NE 68144, Consulting Engineers for the District, and FoleyShald Engineering filed with the Board of Trustees of the District prior to the first publication of this Resolution, at which time the Engineers also filed an estimate of the total cost of the proposed Alta Collina — Trail Phase I, which total cost estimate including engineering, legal, fiscal, interest and miscellaneous costs, is in the amount of $483,831.06. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by FOLEYSHALD ENGINEERING, accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than $24,191.55 as security. The successful bidder will enter into a contract for improvements in accordance with requirements and will provide a contract and maintenance bond for 100% of the total contract price. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for sixty days after the bid opening. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Clerk of Sanitary and Improvement District 353, marked with the project name and the bidder’s name and address. Bid security must be in a separate sealed envelope attached to the proposal envelope and marked accordingly. Proposals received after the deadline will be returned unopened. The work must be performed per the plans, specifications, and law. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available from A&D Technical Supply, Omaha, Nebraska. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
