Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project consists of renovations to the Powers Building. The scope of work includes selective demolition of existing suspended ceilings, HVAC, and electrical components; minor hazardous material abatement; finish flooring repairs and partial floor replacement; replacement of suspended ceilings; new toilet partitions,fixtures, base cabinets, countertops & restroomsinks; and new mechanical and lighting systems for an area of appx. 18,000 SF. Bid security is required in an amount not less than 5% of the BASE bid. Performance and labor & material payment bonds: the successful contractor will be required to Provide performance and labor and material payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. *The value for this project is based on a financial range of $2,000,000 to $2,500,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
