Description

Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Ranger, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.

The work generally includes construction of a new Admin/Control Building, construction of miscellaneous roadway, grading, and electrical. Each bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check or Bid Bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a proper contract and execute bonds on the forms provided. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety and with a minimum Best's Key Rating of “B” or better. All laborers and mechanics must be paid wages as described under the Davis-Bacon Act and contracts in excess of $2,000 must include Davis-Bacon Wage Rate Requirements. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information. The Eastland County WSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
