Unicoi County is requesting bids and qualifications for the operation of solid waste disposal sites at the Unicoi County convenient stations located on Highway 107 (Unicoi, Tennessee), Industrial Park Drive (Erwin, Tennessee), and Lower Higgins Creek Road (Erwin, Tennessee). Each site shall be separately bid. Information and contract specifications regarding the operation of the garbage disposal sites are available at the Unicoi County Mayor's Office. All bids should be submitted to the office of the Unicoi County Mayor. Bids/contracts will be awarded based on qualifications and bid amount by the Unicoi County Commission. Unicoi County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of Unicoi County. Successful bidders must be in compliance with Title VI.
