This Request for Proposal is for the operations of the Re-usable Materials Drop-Off Depot at the Niagara Road 12 Landfill Site in West Lincoln and/or Humberstone Landfill Site in Welland. The purpose is to promote waste diversion through reuse, recycling, and community partnerships, allowing residents and small businesses to donate reusable household goods, thereby reducing the material disposed of at landfill facilities. Proposals are sought from qualified non-profit organizations to operate these depots at Niagara Region waste management facilities. Proponents must be registered with Bids and Tenders and have obtained the RFP directly from the Niagara Region’s public purchasing portal to be considered.
