Bidders and sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Architect at least seven days prior to the date for receipt of Bids and shall be directed to George Link glink@vpsarch.com at the office of the Architect, VPS Architecture, 528 Main Street, Suite 400, Evansville IN 47708. The work consists of furnishing all materials and labor for the Softball Turf Installation at Tecumseh High School. The project will be constructed according to the plans and specifications prepared by Wold VPS. Bids are to be submitted as a single prime contract. Bidders are required to submit a certified check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid as bid security. The successful bidder must execute the contract and furnish acceptable surety bonds within ten days of acceptance. Bid forms must be properly completed on Contractor's Bid for Public Bidding Form No. 96 and include a financial statement, bid bond, Form 96 with financial statement, drug testing policy, and E-Verify. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities as deemed in the best interest of the corporation.
