Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Thomasville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of the installation of new storm drainage infrastructure along a portion of Albertson Rd., Thomasville, North Carolina. The primary work includes the installation of approximately 500 linear feet of Class III and Class IV Reinforced Concrete Pipe, installation of 3 grated yard inlets, installation of 2 flared end sections, 950 linear feet of ditch line grading, driveway and roadway trench repair, and stabilization of the work area to meet or exceed pre-construction conditions. All bids must be in accordance with the bidding documents, and bidders must be licensed contractors in North Carolina appropriately for the section of the bid. A 5% bid security must accompany each bid. Each successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond as security for faithful performance and payment of obligations. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the date of opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
