Utilizing bid documents from another source may result in a disqualified bid.** The proposed work will consist of the installation of new storm drainage infrastructure along a portion of Albertson Rd. Thomasville, North Carolina. The primary work will include the following items and appurtenances: The work consists of the installation of new storm drainage infrastructure along a portion of Albertson Rd., Thomasville, North Carolina. The primary work includes the installation of approximately 500 linear feet of Class III and Class IV Reinforced Concrete Pipe, installation of 3 grated yard inlets, installation of 2 flared end sections, 950 linear feet of ditch line grading, driveway and roadway trench repair, and stabilization of the work area to meet or exceed pre-construction conditions. All bids must be in accordance with the bidding documents, and bidders must be licensed contractors in North Carolina appropriately for the section of the bid. A 5% bid security must accompany each bid. Each successful bidder will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond as security for faithful performance and payment of obligations. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the date of opening. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents and the Contract Documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda, mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received after June 18 th , 2026 at 12:00 PM may not be answered. Only answers issued by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
