Proposers shall provide company information including company name, headquarters location, years in business, local office location, and primary contact information. Separate pricing is required for each district site as well as a bundled district-wide price. The scope includes furnishing and installing exterior doors at specified locations within Corunna High School, Corunna Middle School, and Elsa Meyer Elementary School. The work includes removal of old doors, delivery, and installation to the point of use. Where deemed necessary by school officials, instruction in the use and care of the delivered equipment shall be provided in written form and through demonstration. Complete descriptive literature must accompany bids for equivalent items, and samples may be requested. The manufacturer’s written guarantees must accompany each bid, and bidders may include additional written guarantees. Service facilities, convenience of service, and evidence of the ability to install, service, or supply the required items may be requested. Compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and local laws is required. Bids must be sealed and labeled as specified, and excise taxes should not be included. Performance bonds and necessary insurance certificates are only required when specifically requested. Subletting or assignment of orders is not allowed without written approval. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, be the sole judge of equivalency, and waive any bid requirement in accepting or rejecting bids.
