Installation of span wire traffic signals, including new electrical service, concrete foundations, steel poles, and necessary equipment. It is the Contractor's responsibility to obtain and submit to DOTD the required Performance Bond which pertains to work specifically being done to DOTD's traffic signal. The signal permit issued by DOTD will not be approved without the Contractor obtaining and submitting the bond. Contractor shall include all associated costs of obtaining the bond with their bid. Location - Ben Thomas Rd at US 11 (Front Street), Slidell, LA Saint Tammany Parish are in search of contractors that can install a new traffic signal system at the intersection of Ben Thomas Road and US 11 (Front Street) in Slidell, LA. The scope of work consists of furnishing and installing span wire traffic signals, including steel strain poles, concrete foundations, signal heads, controllers, and new electrical service. Contractors will be responsible for all associated underground conduit and wiring, signal cabinet installation, and integration of advanced radar-based vehicle detection systems. The project also includes testing, permitting, and coordination required to deliver a fully operational traffic signal in compliance with Louisiana DOTD standards.
