The proposed project provides for the construction of drainage improvements in the City of Kirbyville, Texas, including reshaping and installing a concrete trough in an existing ditch, installing new culverts, constructing new headwalls, and associated improvements. Specifically, the improvements include: - Constructing a concrete trough to line the bottom of an existing ditch, reshaping the ditch as necessary, allowing local drainage to enter the channel, relocating water lines underneath the proposed drainage, and casing an exposed sewer service. - Constructing a junction structure and two headwalls with wingwalls. - Constructing a 6'x3' RC box, including pipe penetration through the box and all surface restoration. - Constructing a metal beam guard fence. - Providing and implementing a traffic control plan. - Providing and implementing a stormwater pollution prevention plan. - Providing trench safety systems as required. - Conducting materials testing by a laboratory approved by the Engineer. Special requirements for the project include restoring the work route to its original or better condition prior to acceptance, contacting the owner before starting any work within the project area, addressing any changes in quantities by change order with owner approval, and ensuring proper disposal of all excess materials removed during the project.
