Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Statesville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Iredell County Solid Waste is seeking qualified vendors for a Landfill Gas Collection & Control System (GCCS) expansion. The project covers the purchase of materials and installation of eighteen vertical gas extraction wells over Phases 1–6, including the extension of leachate cleanouts, to be connected to a 12-inch High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) header and smaller diameter HDPE pipe. Additionally, Phase 5 requires the installation of ten new vertical landfill gas wells and associated transmission lines connected to an existing header, overlapping an existing GCCS. The project also includes the abandonment and redrilling of nonproducing landfill gas wells in various active cells, and the installation of risers, valves, and other components to existing transmission lines, air, and force mains. Bidders must be able to perform work in and around existing operations in a safe manner. All submittals must be mailed or couriered to the specified Iredell County address. No bids will be accepted if uploaded to the OpenGov platform, which is used for communication, questions, and issuing addenda. Bidders are responsible for recognizing any issued addenda and must use the Q&A section of OpenGov for all bid-related questions. Question Deadline 06/23/2026 at 2:00 PM ET
