The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the site improvements for the College Station Utilities Yard project located at 1601 S. Graham Road, in accordance with the issued civil plans. Work generally includes mobilization, permitting, utility locating, erosion and sediment control installation, clearing and grubbing, and full-site earthwork for an approximately 4.45–8.55-acre tract. The contractor shall perform rough and final grading to establish proposed drainage patterns, regrade existing gravel areas, and construct drainage improvements to maintain proper site runoff conditions. The project includes installation of approximately 6-inch gravel pavement and 7-inch concrete pavement for yard areas and access drives, coordination and protection of existing utilities, and minor utility adjustments as required. The contractor shall implement and maintain a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), including installation of BMPs such as silt fence, stabilized construction entrance, and sediment controls, with inspections performed every 14 days and after storm events. Final work includes fine grading, site stabilization with seeding and/or geotextile, removal of temporary erosion controls, site cleanup, and project closeout in compliance with all applicable local and state regulations. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit is required for bid submission.
