Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Melrose Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of approximately 2,200 feet of 8-inch water main on Winston Drive from 9th Avenue to 5th Avenue. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required This project includes the installation of water main improvements on Winston Drive from 9th Avenue to 5th Avenue. Installation of approximately 2,200 feet of 8" diameter ductile iron pipe water main will be installed on Winston Drive. Connections to existing water mains on side streets to occur. Installation of valves, vaults, fire hydrants and water services connections to the new water main are included in the project. Sewer pipes to be replaced for water main separation requirements will be completed as necessary on the project. All concrete and pavement removals necessary to complete the project will be included. All restoration work such as pavement restoration, sidewalk, combination curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway and landscaping will be completed by the Village once the water main installation is complete. All pavements at 9 th Avenue disrupted by the contractor as a result of the water main installation and disconnections shall be capped with hot-mix asphalt surface course at the end of each work day. Contractor will be required to maintain the capped trenches until job completion. Question Deadline 07/10/2026 at 5:00 PM CT
