Summary description of the work: The work includes, in general, but is not limited to, the following works: - Plant protection - Selective demolition of existing structures - Demolition of the existing wading pool - Excavation and finishing earthworks - Excavation and backfilling work - Levelling work - Concreting work - Drainage works - Asphaltic concrete surface treatment - Surface layout in prefabricated concrete paving - Surface arrangement in crushed stone - Shock-absorbing protective surface for wood fiber exercise area - Cushioned protective surface for children's play area made of wood fibre - Supply and installation of urban furniture and equipment, including concrete bases - Supply and installation of a drinking fountain - Supply and installation of permanent fences and temporary protection - Supply and installation of natural stone rip rap - Plant planting work - Grassing work - Electrical and lighting work (see plans and specifications in electrical engineering). Duration of work: The redevelopment of playgrounds and demolition of the wading pool at Roberval Park will begin in fall 2026 and be completed in spring 2027. The execution period for the work is 70 calendar days (10 weeks) from the date on which the CONTRACTOR receives written notice from the Head of Division, Implementation of Park and Natural Environment Projects, authorizing the CLIENT to begin the work. This period may be split into two periods if the work is not completed before winter, depending on the freeze/thaw period, as established by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD).
