Description

Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Ocean Shores, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

City of Ocean Shores (hereinafter City) is soliciting the submittal of qualification statements from experienced Coastal Engineering Firms (hereinafter Firm) interested in providing engineering, evaluation, and design services for repairs and/or enhancements to the relic jetty/seawall at the Southern end of Ocean Shores. The proposal includes repairs and/or enhancements of up to 2400 feet of the east end of the relic jetty, beginning at the Quinalt Marina, located at 1098 Discovery Ave. SE. The engineering, evaluation, and design must include all necessary drawings and specifications; Construction cost estimates; Project bidding and recommendation of award; Contract documents; and Contract administration and inspection services. Eligible firms must have demonstrated experience in Coastal Engineering of dynamic revetments or similar forms of coastal stabilization, geotechnical engineering experience, saltwater shoreline in Grays Harbor County, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with regulatory agencies including but not limited to the U.S. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
