Additional questions must be submitted by July 9, 2026 at 11:00 am Bids for the 2026 FULL DEPTH CONCRETE PAVEMENT REPLACEMENT will be received through the Bid Express website. The City of North Ridgeville will open and publicly read the total bid amount for bids via video-teleconference, in accordance with the specifications on file in the Engineering Division. The estimated construction cost is $1,825,000.00. The work will consist of all labor and equipment required for the full depth pavement replacement and other necessary appurtenances all in accordance with the specifications and contractual requirements now on file in the office of the City Engineer. The project shall include full depth concrete pavement slab and joint replacements, catch basin adjustments and reconstruction, along with ADA ramps and sidewalk improvements. The following locations have been identified by the City as full depth concrete roadway sections in need of replacement. 1. Steinbeck Court 2. Dickens Circle 3. Hersey Circle 4. Browning Drive 5. Miller Drive 6. O’Henry Circle apron at Gail Drive 7. Misty Meadow Trail & Stoney Lake Drive intersection 8. Rosebelle Avenue (from 6048 to 6080) 9. Helen Street (East of Ridgeview Boulevard) 10. Emerald Street (cul-de-sac only) 11. Garrett Drive (from 5084 to 5180) 12. Pearl Avenue 13. Gatestone Road (from Glenwood Court to Longbrook Drive) 14. Woodstone Circle (cul-de-sac only) 15. Manning Circle (cul-de-sac only) 16. Heron Circle 17. Mallard Circle (cul-de-sac only) 18. Mills Creek Lane (from Center Ridge Road extending north for 750’) Scope of work includes the total replacement of separate sections and various joint repairs along the specified roadways listed above. The approximate work limits are shown in Exhibits A through D and are marked in the field with white or pink paint. Work will include saw cutting and removing existing pavement, remediating unsuitable subgrade, installing an aggregate base (as directed) and 8” of non-reinforced concrete pavement, installing curb and underdrains where applicable, and reconstructing catch basins as needed. Work shall be completed in any order that is preferred by the contractor. However, the preferred order shall be approved by the City prior to implementation. A maximum of four (4) areas can be ripped out at any given time unless otherwise approved by the engineer. Contractor shall maintain an up-to-date construction schedule, revised monthly, and provide it to the City so that residents are notified ahead of time when they will be affected by construction. The construction schedule shall also be shared with the North Ridgeville High School and Transportation Center when school is in session. Quantities have been broken down into the separate roadways. Please refer to Table 1 at the end of this section as the degree of work varies for each roadway. Record drawings of the original improvement plans for the above-listed streets are available upon request. All questions during bidding shall be submitted through online.
