The work involves removal of existing lighting poles, protection of existing conduit and cabling, design of concrete supports for new lighting poles, and installation of new poles purchased by the Owner. All work is to be completed within 90 days of the Notice to Proceed. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to Ross Township in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date. Bidders may modify or withdraw their bids prior to the bid opening time by submitting a written request to the Township. Bidders must comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. All contractors must also adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are required to be paid on this Contract. Ross Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any bid or combination of bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Township, and to reject any or all proposals.
