Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

Project Summary: The City of Houston is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide construction services aimed at improving traffic safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists. The work includes the installation of safe crossings, sidewalks, ADA-compliant ramps, crosswalk pavement markings, and traffic signs within the existing public right-of-way. The project also includes median modifications, raised-median sidewalks, curb extensions, high-intensity crosswalk enhancements, lane markings, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), fire hydrant relocations, and small road signs. All work must be performed in accordance with the specifications and scope of work established by Houston Public Works (HPW).
