Renovation of a military facility in Lakewood, Colorado. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Design-build services for the replacement and modernization of existing Edwards EST-3 fire alarm control systems with new Edwards EST-4 systems across multiple buildings. Work includes engineering, system design, programming, demolition of existing components, installation of new fire alarm equipment, system integration, testing, commissioning, and project closeout. Scope covers replacement of fire alarm control panels, networked sub-panels, CPUs, network cards, amplifiers, power supplies, NAC power supplies, and associated equipment required to maintain system functionality and code compliance. Services also include integration of the new EST-4 system with the existing Silent Knight fire alarm system in portions of Building 810, preparation of NFPA 72-compliant shop drawings, coordination of system outages, provision of fire watch services during impairments, smoke control integration testing, acceptance testing, third-party witnessing, and submission of closeout documentation. All work shall be performed in occupied federal facilities while maintaining continuous life safety protection and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
