Replacement of imaging equipment and infrastructure, including demolition of casework, plumbing modifications, concrete slab cutting and footing installation, electrical upgrades, installation of new partitions, cabinetry, radiation shielding patches, and interior finishes. Project Description: Project to be executed at 9300 Campus Point Dr, La Jolla, CA 92037, Thornton Pavilion 1st Floor Radiology Department, Room 1-060, 1-062,1-063, consisting on the replacement of pre-existing imaging equipment and infrastructure components. In room 1-060 control booth, removal of existing fixed counter and built-in wall casework. In room 1-062 staging area, removal of Med Gasses on west wall, removal of existing built-in casework and hand washing sink, modifying the plumbing to eliminate foot pedal hot and cold water control valves, and demolition/finish of wall to control room, per plan. In room 1-063 procedure room, installation of a new GE ALLIA IGS740 System, including: demolition of a section of the existing concrete slab, a new thickened concrete footing to support new imaging modality and placing of equipment], trenching to create new underground pathways supporting power and signal cabling for the new modality, minor electrical scope to implement upgrades needed to adapt existing infrastructure to the new imaging modality requirements, add more power and data outlets to the control booth area, and procedure room, and upgrade the existing light fixtures, minor modifications and patching to the existing in-wall radiation shielding, to accommodate new wall mounted electrical components, Installation of new partition wall, access doors, and finishes to match between control room and procedure area. Removal of wall- mounted roll-up cabinetry along the south wall of suite, and installation of new Innerspace roll-up cabinetry. Work to include demolition of storage units above cabinets and installation of new vertical soffit per architectural design. Installation of new room finishes to include, new sheet vinyl flooring and baseboard, new wall paint, new wall and protection.
