The Solid Waste department is requesting locksmith services to replace 173 door locks throughout 14 buildings and facilities on the Solid Waste Disposal Complex with a single lock type and key. The buildings, structures, gates, and equipment currently have various locks without a consistent or planned assignment, and keys have been distributed to employees without documented ownership. Gate clickers have also been distributed without documentation, and badge access is inconsistent with employees’ roles and responsibilities. The project seeks to standardize lock and key assignments across the complex.
