This project is an upgrade of the cameras and cabling at the WHV Correctional Facility. Work includes installation of new cameras in the same general location as existing cameras, moving and extending existing cables with patch cables where needed, marking termination locations on as-builts, installing new camera cables where noted, and installing fire rated pass-thrus for all walls where cables route through. Existing camera cables are to be terminated onto CAT-6 modular connectors at the camera and in the communications room/rack. All existing camera system microphones, microphone cables, power supplies, and cabinets in communications rooms are to be removed. New cameras must be configured on the existing Genetec processing and recording system. Additional Genetec camera licenses are to be provided and configured for new cameras, and costs for license software for new cameras should be included through July 31, 2029. For electrical work, new power cabling, equipment, and a large UPS are to be installed in the West Admin building, including grounding, new poles for cameras, updated grounding and bonding for perimeter cameras, surge suppression devices, underground boring and trenching, ground penetrating radar at all underground work areas, and hydrovac underground work. Mechanical work includes installation of a new HVAC system in the West Admin communications room. The Genetec software must be fully configured on servers and PCs to support the new and replaced cameras, all required software loaded, recording parameters set, and all Genetec system and camera software/firmware upgraded at the 11-month warranty date. Full documentation and as-builts of the updated and installed systems must be provided, including archiver and server configuration diagrams, red-lined PDFs showing cabling and camera locations and numbers, and marked cable routes. Refer to the specifications to determine which items are part of the Genetec Integrator Scope. The GIS contractor must be a Genetec certified Channel Partner, and the standards of the MDOC must be met.
