Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Locust, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 30,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; educational facility; office development; for site work for a educational facility; educational facility; and office development.
Design and construct a new 30,000 sf, two story instructional facility to house Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET), Law Enforcement Continuing Education training, and Criminal Justice programs. Facility will also include offices for Administrative Services and Student Services as well as student spaces and meeting areas. The scope of work is to provide design and construction services for the project throughout the preconstruction and construction phases. This includes but is not limited to schematic design, design development, preliminary design, BIM modeling, construction documents, coordination with other agencies, geotechnical engineering, surveying, cost opinions during each development phase, final design (meeting State and local requirements), technical specifications, obtaining all necessary permits, scheduling, cost control, project management, constructing the facility and driving pad, quality assurance and quality control of design and construction related activities, construction management, and completing project related close-out activities. It is the intent of Stanly Community College to have the Project complete in 2029.
