Renovation of an educational facility in Huntsville, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Roof replacement at Westran High School - The owner intends on replacing the existing EPDM roof down to deck and installing a new EPDM system. Contractor shall pay close attention to the specifications and contractor qualification requirements. Contractor shall replace guttering system and downspouts with new. Contractor shall replace fascia with new. Contractor shall replace wood nailer where necessary. Contractor shall replace all pipe and duct stands with new as specified. Contractor shall replace existing wood block RTU supports with new RTU roof curbs. BASE BID: A. Existing EPDM roof systems to be removed down to deck. B. New insulation is to be minimum of 4.5" polyisocyanurate insulation, with fully tapered polyisocyanurate insulation on top (1/2" start and 1/8" slope) C. A new 1/2 " HD polyiso coverboard to be installed on top of new insulation. D. A new 60 mil. EPDM membrane is to be installed in manufacturer's adhesive. E. All guttering, downspouts, splash pads, perimeter edge metal, coping caps, and wall transition counterflashings will be replaced per specifications and manufacturers recommendations. New prefinished metal gravelstop edging at roof outer edges to address new roof elevation. F. All wood pipe, duct, and equipment supports to be replaced with new as specified. RTU supports to be replaced with new roof curb. G. Existing roof drain domes to be replaced with new. H. Installer must be an approved contractor of any manufacturers roof systems under existing warranties that may connect or disturb work or details from the existing warranty. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. Work shall begin after the contract is awarded on August 31, 2026 and be substantially complete by October 2, 2026; All closeout documentation (including Operation & Maintenance Manuals, As-built Drawings, Warranty Paperwork, etc.) shall be submitted on or before October 16, 2026.
