Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Groton, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Installation of an irrigation system for an athletic field. Site grading and turf establishment will be performed separately by the Town of Groton. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and designated for the project. Bidders may withdraw their bids prior to the scheduled opening. Any bids received after the specified time and date will be returned unopened. Each bidder must submit a bid bond or certified check as security with their bid, subject to conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive formalities or reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 07/02/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the Owner at cdennis@groton-ct.gov / 860-448-4068. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Owner in response to such questions will be posted to the Towns website. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Award is subject to final approval.
