The Murray County Medical Center requests formal bids for the Murray County Medical Center – Radiology Room Relocation project. Sealed bids shall be received by Hospital Administration, attention Luke Schryvers, CEO, 2042 Juniper Avenue, Slayton, MN 56172, not later than 2 p.m. June 23, 2026 The project is a multi-phased selective remodel of the existing radiology department for the installation of new general radiology equipment and associated support spaces. All work activities shall comply with the medical center’s safety, security, and infection control protocols. One Single Prime bid will be received for all general construction, site development, plumbing, heating/cooling, and electrical construction work. The bids will be publicly reported and awarded. It is recommended that all bidders attend the Pre-Bid Conference at the project site, 2042 Juniper Avenue, Slayton, MN 56172, on June 9, at 10 a.m. All bids shall be made in accordance with the forms, drawings, and specifications attached to and made part of the proposed Contract Documents. After June 1, 2026, the Contract Documents will be placed on file at the locations listed below. Plans and Specifications may be examined at the following locations: Midwest Builders Exchange Minneapolis, MN Plains Builders Exchange Sioux Falls, SD Sioux Falls Builders Exchange Sioux Falls, SD No bidder may withdraw a bid until Thirty (30) days after the bid opening, without a written request explaining the cause for the withdrawal and without a written consent of the Construction Manager and Owner after reviewing the cause. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bank note, issued by a State or National Bank located within the state, and payable to the Owner, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid, or a bid bond of ten percent (10%). By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given for materials, products, and supplies found or produced with the State of Minnesota. Bidders residing in Minnesota shall be allowed a preference over the bid of any bidder from any other state enforcing or having a preference for resident bidders, equal to such preference.
