Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Sartell, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work includes rehabilitation and selective upgrades to the existing North Water Treatment Plant for the City of Sartell. The work generally includes removal and replacement of existing filter air wash piping manifolds and filter media, coatings improvements for the four concrete gravity filters, the filter aerator area, and piping throughout the plant where noted in the contract documents, and removal and replacement of aging mechanical, process, and architectural components and associated electrical upgrades. Bids will only be received electronically through QuestCDN.com, and contractors submitting an electronic bid will be charged an additional fee at the time of bid submission. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany each bid according to the instructions to bidders. Contractors must submit a signed statement under oath verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the contract in the best interests of the owner.
