Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sacramento, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City of Sacramento (City) is accepting proposals from qualified Consultants for Construction Management Services for the Traffic Signal Safety Project (Project), in accordance with the included plans, specifications, terms and conditions shown in this Request for Proposals (RFP). The objective of the contract is to have the Consultant serve as the City’s Resident Engineer and provide appropriate staff as required for pre-construction services, project inspection, materials testing, contract administration services, quality control, construction staking, safety, storm water quality, claims mitigation, document control, stakeholder and utility coordination and construction management. The Consultant’s Resident Engineer shall be a licensed Professional Civil Engineer registered in the State of California, with strong general civil engineering construction skills, depth of resources, knowledge of Caltrans Local Assistance requirements, and sensitivity to local and regulatory issues. “Consultant” is the team providing construction engineering services; “Contractor” is the firm who is awarded the construction work.
