Reference Number 0000434805 The Town of Apple Valley has identified an opportunity to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance lighting quality across multiple Town facilities. Through participation in the Inland Regional Energy Network (I-REN) Cash for Kilowatts program, the Town completed feasibility studies which identified lighting retrofits as a cost-effective improvement. The Town is seeking qualified contractors to implement LED lighting retrofit upgrades at the Development Services Building / Conference Center, Apple Valley Police Department, and Public Works / Corporate Yard. Work includes field verification, removal and proper disposal/recycling of existing lighting components, furnishing and installation of compliant LED fixtures, lamps, retrofit kits, drivers, and lighting controls, testing and commissioning, closeout documentation, and coordination with I-REN program requirements. This RFP is a re-release of the Municipal Facilities LED Lighting Retrofit Project. The Town previously released the project under RFP No. FAC2026-03; however, no proposals were received. This re-release includes additional reference documents, including available as-built drawings, I-REN lighting inventory documents, facility-specific lighting information, and applicable prior RFI clarifications to assist contractors in preparing complete and responsive proposals. Attendance is mandatory. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and job walk will preclude a proposer from submitting a proposal. Contractors should review the RFP and all reference documents prior to the job walk. Contractors will be responsible for verifying existing lighting conditions, fixture quantities, fixture types, mounting conditions, controls, access requirements, and electrical conditions during the site walk.
