The Town of Holly Springs is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed contractors for installing Spray Applied Mortar Lining (SAML) to the Salem Ridge Culvert in Holly Springs Contractor and Owner recognize that time is of the essence in the performance of the Contract, and that Owner will incur damages if Contractor does not complete the Work according to the requirements of Paragraph 4.01. Because such damages for delay would be difficult and costly to determine, Owner and Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as a penalty) Contractor shall pay Owner $300 for each day that expires after the Contract Time for substantial completion. 10% for construction projects in the amount of $300,000 or more.
