This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued by MMC pursuant to a Request for Supplier Qualification No. CW21906 (RFSQ) issued by MMC on February 24, 2026, on behalf of Scarborough Health Network. This RFQ is being issued by the Purchaser Scarborough Health Network to obtain Quotations for construction/renovation services related to SHN Mental Health Inpatient Consolidation Pod 3A (Project) from invited contractors. Interior renovation (approx. 12,000 SF) converting existing inpatient surgical unit to mental health unit. The project scope at the Birchmount Hospital includes converting an existing inpatient surgical unit to a mental health unit with an emphasis on complete architectural and mechanical retrofitting. The renovation will address; 1. Safety and Anti-Ligature Architecture 2. Creation of separate zones within the unit. 3. Mechanical and Utility Upgrades 4. The rigorous safety standards of a behavioral and mental health environment. Mechanical and Electrical Subcontractors are prequalified as well.
