This project includes the design, construction and installation services of three (3) playground sites (Wood Buffalo Playground, Dickinsfield School and Westview School). The successful proponent is required to engage a professional member licensed to practice engineering in Alberta and registered with APEGA as a P.Eng. or with ASET as a P. Tech Eng. to complete the drainage design. The successful proponent also requires submitting a notification letter authenticated by a P.Eng to Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA) for drainage extension to the stormwater manhole. Objectives: To complete the playground drainage design by a professional member licensed to practice engineering in Alberta. To complete drainage construction and installation services. Scope Inclusions: Drainage system planning and design. On-site verification of supplied drawings, and site measurements. Submissions of stormwater drainage extension notification to Alberta Environment and Parks. Supply labour, materials for drainage construction and installation services. Replacement of Engineered Wood Fibers. Scope Exclusions: At the Westview School site, there is no requirement of drainage design within the playground area.
