Site work for a fitness / recreation center in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) is requesting proposals from qualified access control contractors to supply, install, and commission an electronic pedestrian gate for the rear entrance of the Suncor Leisure Centre fitness gym. The objective of this project is to implement secure, automated access control for both entry and exit points at this location. The proposed solution must feature a single-lane, double-pedestal gate equipped with 1.2-meter motorized, full-glass sliding leaves. For seamless operations, this hardware must fully integrate with both the existing Lenel OnGuard access control platform and the Sport & Recreation management software system. Additionally, the system must integrate with the facility's existing fire alarm system to ensure emergency fail-safe functionality. The selected contractor will deliver a comprehensive turnkey project, which includes furnishing all equipment, materials, labor, and tools, as well as handling final wiring terminations and system commissioning by a factory-certified technician. All related costs for hardware, integration, labor, and commissioning must be fully disclosed and included in the final proposal. Question Deadline 06/18/2026 at 4:00 PM
