Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wilburton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for a paving contract consisting of approximately 77 tons of 19mm Asphalt Binder Course, approximately 199 tons of 9.5mm Asphalt, and approximately 30 tons of 2A Subbase. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Municipality. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required from all bidders. Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount, along with proof of workers compensation insurance, must be provided within 20 days of receiving notice of award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
