Site work for a water / sewer project in Neola, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is intended to address existing water supply and distribution deficiencies within the system. The work includes equipping a new culinary water well, installation of a submersible pump and control appurtenances, replacing approximately 13,500 linear feet of undersized and deteriorating 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 inch distribution mains, installation of canal and roadway bores, replacement of aging water meters, and replacement of associated service laterals within the Town of Neola in Duchesne County, Utah. The improvements are designed to improve system reliability, increase water delivery capacity, reduce water loss, and provide long-term infrastructure improvements to better serve existing and future system demands. Funding is provided by the Division of Drinking Water and the Community Impact Board. Construction is anticipated to begin as early as July 2026 with a contract period of 180 calendar days and completion expected by the end of 2026.
