Southside Behavioral Health is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide janitorial/cleaning services at multiple facilities. Services will include sweeping/mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitization and restocking, disinfecting surfaces, glass cleaning, periodic deep cleaning including carpet shampooing and vinyl floor waxing/buffing, and trash removal. Contractors are to provide all labor, supervision, cleaning supplies, and necessary equipment, while restroom and breakroom restocking items will be supplied by SBH. All staff must undergo a criminal history background check in accordance with Virginia law. The contract term is for a minimum of one year, with the possibility of extension up to five years, including an annual maximum cost of living increase of 3% for successive years.
