Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Bids are requested for furnishing and installing all labor, materials, permits, equipment, tools, and supplies necessary for the Community Centre Improvements Project. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following approximate quantities: Base Bid - First Floor Lobby Drop Ceiling Replacement (1 LS), 2'x4' Grid Ceiling Light Fixture Installation (12 EA), and Light Switch Replacement (1 EA); Alternate A - Basement Lobby Drop Ceiling Replacement (1 LS) and 2'x4' Grid Ceiling Light Fixture Replacement (4 EA), together with all appurtenant construction. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid must be submitted as bid security. Contractors and subcontractors must pay not less than prevailing wage rates as established by the Federal Department of Labor and meet requirements for minority and women-owned business participation. Performance bonds will be required for successful bidders. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid in the best interest of the Village. Bids must be prepared as described in the Instructions to Bidders and submitted electronically. Question Deadline 06/26/2026 at 4:00 PM CT All bidders must file a 'Bidders Proof of Responsibility Form' with the Village Engineer on or before this deadline.
