Site work for a bridge / tunnel in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The work generally consists of traffic control, double 16' x 6' box culvert joint grouting (448 LF), and end wall joint resealing (2 EA). Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Village of West Milwaukee in an amount of 5 percent of the bidder's maximum bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 10 days after the award, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages. Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and the right to accept the bid which best serves the interests of the Village.
