Approximate major quantities are as follows: 27,000 cubic yards of excavation; 3,100 linear feet of silt fence; removal and disposal of remnant wastewater treatment plant piping and structures; 6,300 cubic yards of topsoil strip and stockpile; 35,400 square yards of topsoil re-spread; 4,200 square yards of erosion matting; and 31,200 square yards of mulch. The work is to be substantially completed on, or before, December 31, 2026. The project is partially funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, which requires that all iron and steel products used are produced in the United States. The contractor shall comply with the requirements of the American Iron and Steel Act and shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates as established by the United States Department of Labor and State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development. Any contracts awarded must demonstrate positive efforts to utilize small, woman owned, and minority owned businesses. Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. The contract shall be subject to compliance standards for Equal Employment Opportunity under EPA contracts. Bids shall be submitted electronically via the QuestCDN service. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the bid. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bidder's maximum bid price. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime contractors shall furnish a listing of all subcontractors and suppliers with a total value of $1,000 or more. Award is subject to final approval.
