Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call civil work for a multi-residential development, office development and parking garage.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies and permits necessary for the complete and satisfactory demolition and removal of the structures at 4120 85th Avenue North, including a commercial building, residential building, detached residential garage, and other structures and improvements, as well as all associated restoration work. This includes complete removal of all structures, basements, foundations, parking lots, sidewalks, trees, shrubs, and all related debris. The contractor must perform site grading and restoration (with filling and leveling) and fully comply with all applicable regulations. Additional work includes abatement of asbestos, removal of all debris from the site, restoring the site to grade conditions, and removal of submersible well pumps around the property. Bidders must securely seal bids in an envelope labeled with the bidder's name, address, and statement 'BID FOR EDA ROYALTON PROJECT, DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES AT 4120 85TH AVENUE NORTH' and deliver them prior to the bid closing. No electronic or fax bids will be accepted. The EDA will consider awarding the bid at its meeting on July 20, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. but may delay taking action until a later meeting Award is subject to final approval.
