Response to Questions:August 7, 2026 Basic Scope of Work: Lextran seeks a contractor to enhance existing bus stops, construct new bus stops, and deconstruct and remove transit infrastructure in the Lextran service area. Specific tasks may include: Pouring concrete pads (ADA required minimum size 5 ft x 8 ft), and demolishing existing concrete pads, if needed. Installing and disposing of (if necessary) transit shelters, benches, trash receptacles, solar lighting, and other amenities. Curb cuts and concrete repairs Adding sidewalks leading to a stop or connecting concrete pads to an existing sidewalk. Any topographical work required to ensure full compliance with all Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. Restoring public or private right-of-way as required by LFUCG and/or KYTC District 7 permitting following installation.
