Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Salem, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work includes closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of approximately 440 linear feet of 6" sanitary sewer lines, approximately 59,000 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer lines, approximately 6,200 linear feet of 10" sanitary sewer lines, approximately 3,200 linear feet of 12" sewer lines, and approximately 5,700 linear feet of 15" sewer lines in the Upper Roanoke River Sewershed area of the City of Salem, Virginia, service area. An indeterminate amount of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) sanitary sewer lining, indeterminate amount of mixed-diameter pipe bursting of sanitary sewer pipes, and an indeterminate amount of mixed-diameter open cut sanitary sewer and lateral pipe replacements. The sanitary sewer pipe renewal quantities in the Work will be determined based on the Engineer's review of the CCTV footage. The Work also includes an indeterminate amount of sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation including, but not limited to, frame and cover replacements, chimney seals, bench and invert repairs, joint and pipe connection seals, full-depth lining, etc., along with an indeterminate number of sanitary manhole replacements. The sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation and replacements in the Work will be determined based on the Engineer's review of the Contractor's manhole inspections.
