Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Salem, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

Scope of Work The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to design, engineer, and install a permanent perimeter litter control fence system at the Smith Gap Landfill in accordance with these specifications and all applicable codes and regulations. The proposed fence alignment is shown on Exhibit A (Smith Gap Landfill - Litter Fence Installation, attached). The scope of Work includes, but is not limited to: o o o o o Design and preparation of complete structural drawings and calculations, stamped by a Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia, covering pole sizing and spacing, foundation design, cable and attachment systems, and wind load compliance. PEstamped final drawings are required prior to commencement of construction. Procurement and installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of structural poles or posts extending from finished grade to a minimum height of thirty (30 ) feet above grade, including all foundations, outrigger arm assemblies, and ground-level apron netting as specified. Procurement and installation of UV-stabilized high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene litter control netting from grade to the full 30-foot height, attached to the pole structure via a galvanized steel cable and hardware system. Installation of top outrigger arm assemblies at each pole, angled outward to prevent litter walkup along the fence face. All site restoration, cleanup, and disposal of construction debris upon completion. Submission of all required documentation including as-built drawings, material certifications, treatment certifications (if applicable), and warranty documents.
