Site work and renovation of a multi-residential development in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

The AMP 3 Hi-Rise Flooring project consists of removing existing floor tile and base materials within vacant residential units, preparing subfloor surfaces, and installing new vinyl composition tile (VCT) flooring and cove base finishes. Blanket contract for 12 months and/or until contract monetary limit, whichever is applicable first, to remove and replace floor tile in public housing hi-rise units. The contractor will remove existing floor tile and cove base/ base trim in vacant units at family developments consisting of one and two bedroom units, as applicable. (Units range in size from 475 to 900 sq. ft.) If the SHA has deemed the existing flooring contains asbestos containing material, the flooring will be abated by an outside, third-party vendor. All floor surfaces, including those that have been abated will require the contractor to apply floor prep skim coat of Mapei-Planipatch mixed with Planipatch Plus. This application must be allowed to dry/cure according to manufacturer's specifications before tile is installed. The contractor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of rubbish and debris resulting from this work inside and outside of structure. Site should be cleaned at the end of each work day. The contractor will install new floor tile and cove base. The SHA will furnish the 12'x12' VCT floor tile, tile adhesive, cove base, and cove base adhesive. The bid proposal should provide SHA sufficient detail to allow it to properly evaluate the submitted bid The contractor shall be responsible for completing the scope of work per unit within fourteen (14) calendar days of notification of the unit assignment Question Deadline 06/26/2026 at 5:00 PM Any prospective bidder desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, drawings, etc., must request it at least 7 days before the scheduled time for bid opening. Requests may be oral or written. Oral requests must be confirmed in writing.
