Bids are invited for the VAN AVENUE - 2026 JOINT PAVE & DRAINAGE PROJECT. The work includes paving related work, as provided for within the contract documents, bid form, and project drawings. Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, are available at the Office of PennEastern Engineers, LLC. Only plan holders on file at the office of the engineer shall be considered responsible bidders. Bid security in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required by the successful bidder. The project is financed in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority, and all requirements of this Authority must be met by the bidders. Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification Act apply to this contract if the estimated cost of the project exceeds $25,000. The right to reject any or all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding is reserved. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days for review prior to awarding the contract. During this period, no bidder may withdraw their bid.
