Courtesy/Google Maps The city of Laredo announced construction on McPherson Road near Jacaman Road will begin Monday and last 21 working days. The construction is for Phase 3 of site improvements. It includes the installation of a concrete median and pavement markings on McPherson Road. Construction is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather and conditions permitting. “Motorists and pedestrians are strongly encouraged to avoid the construction area completely and use alternate routes whenever possible,” the city of Laredo said. “Those who must travel through the area are urged to use extreme caution and remain alert to changing traffic conditions. “For the safety of motorists, pedestrians and construction crews, drivers are urged to follow all posted traffic control signs, barricades and other traffic control devices. Adhering to these measures will help maintain safety and minimize traffic congestion in the affected area.” ------------------- The City of Laredo reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor irregularities.
