Replace AWOS III P/T - Electric This project will consist of the replacement of the existing Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) III P T system. The scope includes decommissioning and removal of the existing equipment; procurement and installation of a new FAA-certifiable AWOS III P T system; and coordination with the FAA for system commissioning, certification, and integration into the National Airspace System (NAS). The existing AWOS site is located midfield of RW 3 21 on the non-terminal side of the airfield and is anticipated to remain in its current location, subject to FAA siting and commissioning requirements. It is assumed that the existing foundations and power feeds will remain in-place and be reused to service the new equipment.
