Solicitation number 70Z03926QCGA00050, 70Z03926QCGA0050 The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform the following: Task 1 : Mobilization & Installation: Deliver all necessary high-density polyethylene (HDPE) piping (or other piping utilized for sewer lines), valves, and fittings to the designated area at the Coast Guard Academy. Secure the staging area and establish safety perimeters with necessary signage, barriers, and cones around the temporary sewer line. Route the temporary piping above ground from the pump station to the designated downstream discharge manhole or connection point. Ensure HDPE joints are secure and install heavy-duty traffic ramps where the piping crosses roadways or pedestrian paths. Perform pressure testing on the temporary line to verify structural integrity. Complete the connection to the existing pump station discharge and the downstream receiving infrastructure. The contractor shall provide the following rental equipment: 6 - 4" X 10' Composite Hose with 150# Flange Fittings 1 - 4" 150# Flanged Tee 4" 150#FL x 4" MQD Adapter 5 - 4" 90 Degree QD Bend 5 - 4" 45 Degree QD Bend 20 4" x 20' QD Pipe 8 - 4" x 50' Heavy Duty Layflat Hose with QD Fittings 6-4" x 10' Black Water Suction Hose with QD Fittings 2 Road Crossings 2-4" QD Tee Female x Male x Male 2-2" Combination Air Valve ARI D-025-2 24" Gate Valve with 150# Flange Approximate linear footage is 600 LF Pumps are expected to deliver 600 gpm . It is a 25 HP Goulds pump. Backup pumps are not required The tie in is at the sewage lift station and exit will be at the sewer manhole by the sail loft. Task 2: Operation , Repairs, & Monitoring: Initiate flow through the bypass system. Provide response capabilities (via personnel) to repair/restore leaks, pressure drops, or pump failures that occur during the main line repair period. Response should have personnel on scene within 12 hours of notification the contractor shall respond and repair/temporary solution to maintain service no later than 24 hours after notification. Task 3: Demobilization: Upon completion of permanent force main repairs (estimated in Spring 2027), flush and decontaminate the bypass piping . Disconnect all temporary infrastructure, remove materials from the Academy grounds, and restore the site to its original condition. Provide a temporary sewer line at Coast Guard Academy that requires immediate temporary service until a full-term repair can be executed.
