It is the intent of this Request for Proposals for Professional Services (PS) to engage a qualified professional engineering consultant to provide engineering services for pedestrian and sidewalk improvements along Cypress Parkway between Doverplum Avenue and Old Pleasant Hill Road in Osceola County. The project supports the County's ADA Transition Plan and includes approximately 1,800 linear feet of new sidewalk and related accessibility upgrades. Work includes ADA curb ramps, pedestrian refuge areas, detectable warnings, and signal improvements. The Consultant shall provide project management, surveying, and coordination with utilities and applicable agencies, including CFX. pedestrian infrastructure at the intersection of Doverplum Avenue and Cypress Parkway (3 curb returns and median pedestrian refuge), install detectable warning surfaces (DWS) at new and existing deficient curb ramps, replacement of damaged sidewalk near Old Pleasant Hill Rd, replace/relocate pedestrian signal pedestals and APS units at Doverplum Avenue (3 locations), and evaluate pedestrian signal compliance at Old Pleasant Hill Road (6 locations). ADA improvements to existing commercial driveways along the South side of Cypress Parkway are also included. Additional services include drainage evaluation, environmental screening, and roadway design support. The Consultant will prepare signed and sealed construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Deliverables shall be suitable for bidding and construction in accordance with applicable requirements.
