Site work and new construction of a laboratory facility in Moncton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the construction of a laboratory facility; laboratory facility; and laboratory facility.
Public Works and Government Services Canada has retained a Construction Manager (Pomerleau) to modernize laboratory facilities as part of its Laboratories Canada (LC) program of work. The CM’s Contract is the Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre (ASEC) (also known as the Gulf Fisheries Centre (GFC)), a PWGSC owned asset in Moncton, NB, that will be redeveloped and expanded to provide science accommodations and non-science space for use by five Science Partners. The asset is a federally designated Recognized heritage building and will remain under operation during the phased construction approach. The construction phasing is the following: Enabling Works, Phase 1 New Science Annex, Phase 2 New Construction. This tender package is required to facilitate construction of the new ASEC facility. Specifically this package is for WP01.0192-Construction Hoist. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
